EYELASH EXTENSIONS
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT ?
- Please come to your appointment with NO make up and a fresh , clean face
- Please don't drink anything with caffeine 4 hours prior.
ARE THERE ANY RISK ASSOCIATED WITH EYELASH EXTENSIONS ?
As with any product on the market, there is a very small chance of an allergic reaction (approx. 1%). If you have bad allergies or extremely sensitive eyes , I highly suggest a patch test . A patch test is when I apply a few lashes on each eye. Ensuring that the extension is placed on the natural lash and not on the skin. You then wait 24-48 hours and if no reaction occurs, you can continue with the scheduled service. With a true allergic reaction, swelling of the eyes will occur within those 48 hours. Please contact me {(704) 584-8466} immediately should this happen .
WILL THE EXTENSIONS RUIN MY NATURAL LASHES ?
No they won't . As long as the proper care instructions are followed , your natural lashes won't be harmed.
DO YOU RECOMMEND LASHES FOR TRAVEL/WEDDING ?
Yes ! However if you’ve never tried it before, we recommend that our brides and travel aficionados come in and try a full set at least a month before the big day or departure. Once you see how easy and effortless they are, you'll want to book an appointment to 2-4 days before your big day or departure.
WHO SHOULD NOT GET LASHES ?
-If you've had eye surgery in the last 6 months
- If you take Retinol
- If you were diagnosed with Alopecia
- If you are going through Chemotherapy
- If you suffer from Trichotillomania
- If you are taking medication that causes temp. hair loss
- If you have had your eyebrows tattooed/microbladed recently (wait for them to heal properly)
- If you recently have had your eyeliner tattooed (wait for it to heal properly)
- If you have blepharitis ( this can be controlled with daily cleansing )
- If your natural lashes are extremely damaged
(This can be treated with not wearing anything on your lashes--Give your lashes a break! A really good growth serum would help too .)
- If you literally don't have eyelashes for the extensions to be adhered to
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY EXTENSIONS ?
Caring for your extensions includes washing twice a day everyday and brushing them often especially before and/or after washing , showering , working out ,etc. To go the extra mile , try your hardest to sleep on your back and get a silk pillow case to prevent unnecessary tangling.
HOW OFTEN ARE REFILLS REQUIRED ?
- Refills are suggested to be done every 2 weeks to keep up the desired look .
HOW LONG WILL THEY LAST ?
- Based on your natural lashes' shedding cycle , your lashes CAN last up to 3 weeks with excellent maintenance.
- Keep in mind that everyone's lash cycle is different. Some ladies come every two weeks , others come back every 3 weeks, and few come back monthly.
Remember the longer you wait in-between your refills , the more lashes you'll need! So please book accordingly .
CAN I USE MASCARA ?
- N O !
CAN I WORKOUT/SWIM WITH MY LASHES ?
- After your workout (this includes any activity that'll cause you sweat), cleanse your lashes with a proper lash extension cleanser. It is important to clean your lashes after a workout because the salt and residue from sweat should not sit on your lashes. Having that residue on your lashes effects retention and breaks down adhesive. Always keep it clean!

CAN THEY BE REMOVED ?
- Yes they can ! I have a procedure using a gel based remover to safely remove the extensions .
Do not pull your eyelashes out -- you could cause permanent damage to your lashes
