Most eyelash extensions are made from synthetic fibers- a high grade polyester. They are flammable and sensitive to high temperatures. If you get too close to a heat source, there is a possibility you can damage you extensions as well as your natural lashes. Lighting a lighter too close to your face or sticking your head in the oven while cooking are ways that you can alter your lashes like the picture above or even worse. Unfortunately there is no way to fix this other than to remove those lashes. If it's just a few lashes that got singed, they can be removed by tweezer. But if you have a large amount of lashes that got bent, you will have to get a removal and a fresh new set.
