#LashTipTuesday: Refills

So you just got your lashes done. They look sooo freaking good! You can’t wait to take bomb selfies without the filter that gives you lashes 😅and wake up with the easiest morning routine. Now fast forward about 2 weeks, you’re looking in the mirror and you notice your lashes are looking different. They’re not as full and fluffy like how they were when you first got them done. Your extensions shedded out right along with your natural lashes, Read about shedding here. Now would be the perfect time to get them done over again. It’s time for a refill.

Like its name, a refill is when you need to add some more lashes and ‘fill’ in the gaps in a previous set of lash extensions that are caused by natural shedding or poor care. As well as replacing outgrown lashes just to make sure that everything across your lash line is leveled and consistent. In addition, fills are generally cheaper and takes less time than a full set.

The best time to book your refill would be around 2 to 3 weeks after your first initial appointment. This is highly recommended if you want to maintain the look the lashes gave you. You should have at least 50% of your lashes left before it’s considered that you’ll have to get a whole new set because you don’t have enough extensions left. Always be mindful that how you care for your lashes will always play a part in your retention. Read how you can maintain your lashes here.
